This is a guide on how to Mint Christmas Cards using Mintable.app.

How to mint your first Christmas Card Smart contract with Mintable.app
You need an Ethereum wallet to mint an item with Mintable. You can use the following browsers and wallets:
- Brave
- Chrome w/ Metamask
- Firefox w/ metamask
- Mobile Wallets: Trust wallet, Status, Coinbase wallet
Step 1:
Go to https://mintable.app/create and click ‘guide me’.
Step 2:
Enter the name of your contract, the symbol for your contract, and click next.
Here I’ve entered:
Name: Christmas Cards for my family
Symbol: View you card at Mintable.app/manager/ (this is so that people who have this item in their wallet will see where to view it)
TokenURI (aka your link): A direct image link to an image I want to use — or- a link to anything else you want (such as an API, or IPFS).
Step 3:
Add metadata. This can be anything you want. A personal message, or maybe nothing. Each new card you make can have new metadata.
So if you are making a card for your Father, the metadata might look like this:
Step 4:
Review and submit
If you see this page — you need to have an ethereum wallet unlocked and opened.
Once you have your wallet connected — you’ll see this:
Step 5: Email yourself a copy of the receipt
- You’ll get a copy of everything you’ve done in your email.
- Your ABI code for the contract
- your transaction Hash (literally your receipt)
- links to view your newly made item
- and more.
Mint more cards within the same contract
So now you have a christmas cards contract, but you want to add more cards, one for your sister, one for your mother, and one for a friend. How do you do this?
Go to the Manager page for your contract
Take your contract address from the email you got, or find the contract address via etherscan.io for your newly made contract.
Now lets load the newly made Christmas cards into the Mintable manager — so that we can manage our card and mint more!

This is my card, you need to replace my address with the address of your newly made contract.
Transfering your card and giving it away
Take your contract address from the email you got, or find the contract address via etherscan.io for your newly made contract.
Now lets load the newly made Christmas cards into the Mintable manager — so that we can manage our card and send it to our dad!

If you have a lot of erc-721s that you want you sell on our exchange in the Beta, it would be worth it to have 100% no fees, so you don’t have to pay $3 to list an item. (Example if you are selling game items and you have 100 items, that would be $300 in fees you would reduce.)
Finally — all these cards are sellable and tradeable on any ERC-721 exchange you want, you own them! Do whatever you want with them.
How the discount works: Whenever you interact with our smart contracts if you own one of those cards, your fees will be discounted the amount on the card. If you have a 100% discount card there will be zero fees on your transaction. (except normal gas costs we can’t help that).
