Mintable and ZB Exchange Collaborate to Gift NFTs to Meetup’s Participants
40 event tickets were minted and gifted to attendees of the ZB Bangkok Meetup on August 1 as well as a single Quiz Master Trophy NFT for the evening’s quiz champion.
At Mintable, we love collaborating with others who are looking to create something new. NFTs can be useful for a lot of different use cases such as digital art, badges, game items or even supply chain solutions. In the case of this past Friday, we were delighted to work with ZB Exchange (ZB.com) to offer a bit of memorabilia to all who attended the ZB Crypto Meetup in Bangkok.
With Mintable having a permanent presence in Bangkok, we were in a great position to learn about the ZB event early and discuss some cool ways to contribute. We were pleased to see how open ZB Exchange was to wanting to do something special for their community. As this was their kickoff event for the Thai market, they wanted to share something that those participants could keep forever, describing an NFT perfectly!
The evening was very rewarding especially because, despite the crowd being involved in crypto on varying levels, there was still a lot of explaining to do in regards to ERC-721 and NFTs. When we aren’t beefing up the Mintable.app platform, we enjoy educating others about the powers of the non-fungible.
But seeing is believing. Participants were encouraged to download the new mobile MetaMask in order for us to transfer them their freshly minted ZBCOM (1 of 40) tokens. The night concluded with John C., co-founder of EOS Bangkok, winning t
he prized ZB Quiz Trophy (1 of 1) after scoring 22 out of a possible total of 25 points. So close to perfection! If only he’d recognized the Kyber Network’s logo and a couple other questions!
The night was a great first introduction to NFTs for many in attendance. There is no doubt the NFT space is growing rapidly. In response to demand, Mintable.app has recently updated our features to include enterprise solutions for anyone requiring more robust or custom NFT integrations.
